Kimbo Slice is the guy in the white shorts. He is an underground boxer, that will fight anyone, anytime, anyplace, for between $5,000 and $10,000. Backed by a Miami porn site mogul, he has these fights for a living until he goes pro. Which he is looking to do, in UFC or something. So, if you wanna throw down with Kimbo then you'd better hurry up. Otherwise you'll have to assault him or go pro to get a piece. It has been argued that he was on PCP, or a short acting anabolic agent popular with Mike Tyson, that stimulates extreme aggression. But the guy went to prison for 10 years, and was probably raped before he got that big, so I think he just has an enormous amount of aggression and experience in fighting. You decide. For me: Kimbo is my hero either way. He is way tough. kimboslice@hotmail.com if you want to throw down. Meet Kimbo Slice. Do not anger Kimbo. Kimbo is teh tough. |

] Unless we have a climate that will allow more independent ] media companies to survive, a dangerously high percentage ] of what we see--and what we don't see--will be shaped by ] the profit motives and political interests of large, ] publicly traded conglomerates. The economy will suffer, ] and so will the quality of our public life. Let me be ] clear: As a business proposition, consolidation makes ] sense. The moguls behind the mergers are acting in their ] corporate interests and playing by the rules. We just ] shouldn't have those rules. They make sense for a ] corporation. But for a society, it's like over-fishing ] the oceans. When the independent businesses are gone, ] where will the new ideas come from? We have to do more ] than keep media giants from growing larger; they're ] already too big. We need a new set of rules that will ] break these huge companies to pieces. Read this. All of this. Every last word. Ted Turner is discussing how bloated companies are using lobbying the FCC and using unfair/crazy laws to enforce a business model that does not work, and would not work in a truly Free Market Economy. Jason, the core of the arguement that Ted makes is the same argument that I was making to you at the Vortex that day regarding the MPAA/RIAA and the DMCA. 'My Beef With Big Media' by Ted Turner |

] One of the things I learned in the years I have spent in ] law enforcement at both the federal and local level is ] that witnesses of traumatic events relate few details. ] When people are frightened or otherwise psychologically ] shocked, their minds don't record movies, but snapshots, ] and not many of them, either. ] ] Annie's story has a wealth of detail, so much that I find ] myself disbelieving that she could have been as afraid as ] she says she was. The war on terror is frustrating and confusing. A college classmate of mine, someone who knows I am a retired CIA operations officer, recently expressed to me his frustration with the pace of the war on terror. Our current war on terror is by no means the first such war our nation has fought, and our interrogation efforts against terrorist suspects in the United States, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay are (hopefully) based on lessons learned from the experiences of past decades. This article details one particularly instructive case from the Vietnam era. The Man in the Snow White Cell |

Images of orgasms past seem cartoonish, having played again and again, copies of copies of copies... the original long gone, lost between pixels in a smattering of ink overflowing from neuron A to neuron B blending them into an informationless mass. Spread lips and lollipops and kung fu care bears and all of it, I mean all of it, in pink and purple and gold. I forgot how to fuck! |

Maybe there will come a day when the hope and joy I feel when I look into her sweet brown eyes wont be tempered by the fear that I wont see them ever again. Not see them ever again in this state of mind. The state of mind in which I can see the them for what they are, in all their magnificance. Gateways to the soul of my lover and companion. And maybe I wont fear that shell leave me, or worse, stay with me out of pity, when I cant get out of bed because the world is black and without hope. When light turns to darnkess, when sweet turns to bitter... they always leave. They have to, and I dont blame them. I only judge them on how they go about it. With dignity, or without.
