For me: Kimbo is my hero either way. He is way ] tough. ] ] kimboslice@hotmail.com if you want to throw down. In fairness to the other guy, who couldn't really fight all that well and spent most of his time playing defense (even in the first throws of the fight). He looked fairly inexperienced, even as a street fighter. Even though he was a few pounds lighter than Kimbo, and didn't have nearly the upper body strength, experience can usually overcome that kinda stuff. That's not to take anything away from Kimbo, who took at least three (that I could count) full on lean in straight shots to the face completely unprotected. His face wasn't even swollen afterward, but I imagine that he's probably pumped up with something to account for that. Taking that kinda shot to the face would definitely cause damage, let alone more than once. I can't see this guy going pro though, because his technique is horrible. Even as a heavyweight, he doesn't move his feet well, and he constantly left the body open except for the first minute or so. A pro would certainly hurt him, but he'd probably have to throw a few haymakers to knock him out if he can withstand the shots he took in this fight. There's no way he'd last in UFC, since he probably can't kick. Besides, most UFC bouts are won by pinning a guy and either choking him off or constant knee kicks to the skull. I think the challenger had already lost the fight before the first blows were thrown. RE: Meet Kimbo Slice. Do not anger Kimbo. Kimbo is teh tough. |
