A man who admitted he operated a lawnmower while drunk was sentenced to a year in jail after showing up intoxicated for his court-imposed community service.

Michael Kocur's blood alcohol level of .09 was under the legal limit of .10, but abstaining from alcohol was a condition of his probation, his lawyer Norm Chirco said.
