Here are a few simple tips to insure that your effort at running at bulletin board places you in the majority. How to Become an Unsuccessful, Burned-Out SysOp |

Washington, D.C.-NASD Regulation, Inc., announced today that it censured Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation (CSFB) and directed it to pay $50 million in monetary sanctions for taking millions of dollars from customers in inflated commissions in exchange for allocations of "hot" Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). The inflated commissions essentially amounted to a "profit sharing" arrangement with CSFB as the IPO shares climbed in the secondary market. As part of the settlement, CSFB will also pay $50 million to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Credit Suisse First Boston to Pay $100 Million to be Split Between the NASD and SEC |

First of all, those that run linux, will not use AOL. Then it mentions this: "The AOL online software, which consumers can install for free from the Web or a compact disk, is now designed to run on Microsoft's Windows configured to override Windows and launch a version of Red Hat's Linux operating system, sources said." Which sounds like more bullshit. AOL in negotiations to buy Red Hat |
