UGG----Skinner In ancient times, people totally have no limitation to kill animals for fur whatever in moral aspects or however cruel the way they hunt, since it is not only the basic human need to clothe bodies from coldness and harm, but also at that time human beings are not in the top of food chain, all the creatures are equally existent, thus having no responsibilities to cooperate or make sacrifices to other species. The nature will make her own choice.
But nowadays, the activities of environment protection are all around of us, since we have only one earth so we have to protect it. It is true, but I am still alert to some problems that mess me up.
Radically thinking, the protection of endangered species should be for the sake of animals’ rights and interests instead of the profits we can gain from it. For example, the reason why medicine institutes insist protecting some kind of vipers is that we human beings need some good elements to cure our diseases abstracted from vipers’ venoms. We protect them because we need to use them.
And what’s more, I always think to the significance of panda in China: Surely it is helpful keep lovely panda’s quantities, but let us face this, we human beings grasp at our hands the destiny of panda and meanwhile the nature cannot make any adjustments, then isn’t it clear that human beings have already labeled animals as a tool? We protect animal for bettering human being’s earth, what we do is based on our own interests.
If one day we can read animals’ minds through their eyes, their eyes will mutually mirror real us.
Back to my problem, recently I was attracted by ugg boots through the internet. Usually I hate people killing animals for fur, they are labeled “skinner”. These skinners clothe rich people with animals’ skins and sometimes I really stand up for the slogan says “I’d rather naked than wearing fur” ,not only for the hatred towards the skinners, but also for the hatred towards the fur-wearers who are always being rich.
But since ugg are not that kind of luxuries thus they are allowed to put me in their boots. And I really love UGGS, because they have supple leather upper with shearling and nice collar and trim,it seems UGGS is the best when it comes to winter collection.
Enough for the commercial words.
Here comes my inner struggle “To buy or not to buy”, should I be environment-friendly substantially or spiritually and this requests me to hate uk ugg boots inside while that requests me not to buy UGGS only.
You might think I am crazy by peppering myself with this paradox. I think so too, but it really messes me up when it comes to my maxim—— “Practise what you preach”. I may be still struggling amongst this paradox, so here is my last word——I want to be environment-friendly, but I just can’t let go of my ugg australia. |
