I am writing you with much concern after having read of your hearing
to decide whether the alternative theory of Intelligent Design should
be taught along with the theory of Evolution. I think we can all agree
that it is important for students to hear multiple viewpoints so they
can choose for themselves the theory that makes the most sense to them.
I am concerned, however, that students will only hear one theory of Intelligent
Design.

Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design.
I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe
was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. It was He who created all that
we see and all that we feel. We feel strongly that the overwhelming scientific
evidence pointing towards evolutionary processes is nothing but a coincidence,
put in place by Him.

Medieval loser tasered by cops.

When they arrived at his crib, McClain allegedly tried to strike a cop with a four-foot sword. After missing, McClain retreated to his basement, where he donned a chainmail armored vest and leather gauntlets to protect his arms. He also added a giant wooden mallet to his arsenal and beckoned officers to come downstairs and get him. "I'm gonna crush your fucking skulls," McClain warned. Then, in a nice rhetorical flourish (for a lunatic, at least), he added, "I have a thousand years of power." That omnipotence, however, was no match for a police Taser, which felled McClain. He was then carted off and charged with felony assault and a misdemeanor count for failing to remain at an accident scene.

A group of researchers in Russia claim they have solved the mystery of crop circles, the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily reports. According to them, plants bend as a result of microwave emissions caused by lightning strikes

Everyone was wrong... It wasn't aliens, or pranksters...
It must have been the radio active dwarves.

Please Note:This entry discusses the etymology and application of a selection of words that, to varying degrees, can be considered vulgar or offensive. As a necessity, this entails the use of said words, and it is strongly advised that, should you find such words distressing or inappropriate, you do not read on beyond this point. For the rest of you, there now follows an informative and hopefully educational entry on a potentially controversial topic - bad language...

RE: The Shout | Jennifer Granick | ISS and Cisco v. Granick’s Gambling Plans
Topic: Technology 3:31 pm EDT, Aug  4, 2005

I'm still not clear on why Cisco is going after mike lynn rather than ISS. It seems like ISS almost used him as the goods to extort Cisco somehow. By giving the presentation, its seems like he broke whatever extortion agreement Cisco & ISS reached.

What mike lynn revealed, Cisco claims to have already previously revealed, but lied about how fucked they were. Mike lynn disagreed with this on stage and demonstrated his point. The information he learned by researching for ISS certainly belonged to ISS, but he didn't reveal his research... He used the research. If i research something for someone else, the info is theirs to publish... However, if I am somehow enlightened by this info that I have been doing something a dumb way for a very long time and use this information as a REASON to stop this behavior, i don't see how this breaks disclosure. If i tell the person next to me, look dummy, you're fucking yourself if you do it the way you have been... And prove this by fucking myself onstage so you can see what happens... I still would not have revealed anything new by illustrating exactly how "fucked" by "fucked" cisco meant. So long as I wasn't using this research to show people how to make dicks to fuck themselves or others with, I've disclosed nothing. So I don't see the case here.

RE: CNN.com - Bush: Schools should teach 'intelligent design' - Aug 2, 2005

Mike the Usurper wrote:
During a round-table interview with reporters from five Texas newspapers, Bush declined to go into detail on his personal views of the origin of life. But he said students should learn about both theories, Knight Ridder Newspapers reported.

"I think that part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought," Bush said. "You're asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, the answer is yes."

ID in science should be there... but they need to do it the right way. It's obviously a religious creationist theory, and a great example of why the scientific method has become so important in today's day in age. In ancient times, they truly believed interesting and ridiculous things. Teach kids the difference between "Proof & Theory" and "Faith & Myth." An excellent idea.
