Bush Suspends Pay Act In Areas Hit by Storm
Topic: Current Events 3:29 pm EDT, Sep 21, 2005

President Bush yesterday suspended application of the federal law governing workers' pay on federal contracts in the Hurricane Katrina-damaged areas of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The action infuriated labor leaders and their Democratic supporters in Congress, who said it will lower wages and make it harder for union contractors to win bids.

This is the combined effort of Ubiq and myself to use our mighty ubergeek powers to laugh
in the face of that which cannot be explained. No offense is intended, unless offended is a Bureaucrat or Politician creature.

Looking inside, Chipworks has found creative expressions on many of the chips
that we have examined. Our combined facilities house six (6) optical microscopes
that provide us with the magnification required to do our analysis work, as
well as to discover the hidden art on some chips.

Images are captured by Chipworks' own proprietary state-of-the-art
software, Design Analysis Workstation
(DAW) and are uncovered during magnification of the chip. Magnification
based on the available space where the art is placed can vary anywhere
from 200 to 500 times the actual size.
We think that these masterpieces deserve a wider audience. Have
a look at what we've found!

What is Google Print?

Google's mission is to organize the world's information, but much of that information isn't yet online. Google Print aims to get it there by putting book content where you can find it most easily – right in your Google search results.
How does Google Print work?
Just do a search on the Google Print homepage. When we find a book whose content contains a match for your search
terms, we'll link to it in your search results. Click a book title and you'll see the page of the book that has
your search terms, along with other information about the book and "Buy this Book" links to online
bookstores (you can view the entirety of public domain books or, for books under copyright, just a few pages
or in some cases, only the title’s bibliographic data and brief snippets). You can also search for more
information within that specific book and find nearby libraries that have it.

Oh, look. A gender based toilet seat product. How entertaining, I can hear the “LOL’s” coming already. This device is placed on the inside of the top toilet seat. When the seat is up and it detects motion, there will be a red light illuminating a bulls-eye in the water, you know, for competitive urinators. When the seat the down there is a green light illuminating the seat so females can gently guide their way to the seat. If all women would just start using the P-Mate we could avoid having to deal with stupid gadgets like this.

I guess that bit about not mixing natural and synthetic fibers has a point.

See... Now if we could only get cars to do this.
