I saw the MSNBC interviews and was like...WOW. But no one else really picked up the ball? It was like, OK, here's the bomb! Then, hey, what are you doing for the superbowl? WTF

Only a handful of the 168 mothers involved in the case have had their individual hearings so far – they will all be complete by June 4. Many of the "disputed" mothers are still due court hearings. One has to wonder how many more "child brides" will turn out to be adults before this is all over.
It’s an important point, because CPS investigators justified escalating the April 3 raid, and ultimately the removal of every child, based on their observations once they entered the ranch for the first time in response to a call for help. "

While this song starts out about a specific incident or two, and it honors a fallen soldier and discusses school freedom - it's meaning is universal I think. Freedom of speech Freedom of faith Freedom of religion Freedom to stand up and fight for what we believe in..

High school senior Allen Lee sat down with his creative writing class on Monday and penned an essay that so disturbed his teacher, school administrators and police that he was charged with disorderly conduct.
"I understand what happened recently at Virginia Tech," said the teen's father, Albert Lee, referring to last week's massacre of 32 students by gunman Seung-Hui Cho. "I understand the situation."
But he added: "I don't see how somebody can get charged by writing in their homework. The teacher asked them to express themselves, and he followed instructions."

Drive Through Worker gets peppersprayed in face by Cop

This juvenile gal is working the drivethrough when she waits on a cop. He insists that he gave her a twenty. Even after the manager checks, he doesn't believe them. He arrests and juvenile and during the process sprays her full in the face with pepperspray. Watch the full event - look what is caught on video.
This is not new, but worth watching.

Now what this tells me, on a common sense level, is that even when cops are clearly wrong, you can't touch them.
