I never could understand how people here in the US would freak out when they saw people having to go through the Checkpoint when the Berlin wall was up. it seemed so scary to have to live like that!

But there are roadblocks HERE - all over the place.

That "you don't have to worry if you are not doing anything wrong" attitude is very dangerous.
