exploit that the SQL-Slammer worm used
Topic: Computer Security 2:59 am EST, Feb 25, 2003

Exploit for same vulnerability, posted to packetstorm November of 2002. I used it to test hosts at clients that were "patched" and really weren't.

WLANA.net - Think Wireless

Good general site for 802.11 attacks/vulnerabilities.

Based in Germany and associated with CCC (Chaos Computer Club), it seems to have the best (reliable) news and some good introductions.

The A Number-1 best linux based wardriving utility.
even has festival (text to speech) integration.

Just imagine your laptop saying "unencrypted network linksys found" 10 thousand times while driving around here in SF.

Whit Diffie (of DH key negotiations) snipes MS's .Net
Topic: Computer Security 2:32 am EST, Oct 30, 2001

Whit Diffie (works for Sun Microsystems) reams M$'s .Net a new oriface.

His opinion (in a nutshell) is that it will hold _quite_ sensitive information and will be less secure than Hotmail (and we all know that's been owned to hell and back).
