The potential to intersperse messages between programming segments -- as with the "Rock the Vote" campaign, for example -- makes the music cable channel an obvious vehicle. And a top priority for MTV is to give young people a way to express their views via local MTV channels around the world, whether through man-on-the street interviews or interactive shows. Such efforts were under way before the attacks, but the events of September 11 brought a new sense of urgency. Oh yeah, lets just send in MTV. That will take care of all these problems. Thats just great.. Glad to see things are moving along. I always knew MTV would play some kind of key role in the end times. CNN.com | U.S. wants its MTV to get message out in Arab world |

including a new liquid heroin financed by Osama bin Laden, called the "Tears of Allah". The "Tears of Allah" thing was what caught my eye here. Tears of Allah Heroin! Its all the rage! Heh. I was under the impression that Janes was a US company. Just got LART'd for it, with good reason. So to correct myself, Jane's is a very good source of information about how US/British/NATO forces can kick your ass.. Outside that, I suggest making sure you propaganda filters are on. The Army kept the biological-warfare tests secret until word of them was leaked to the press in the 1970s. Between 1949 and 1969, when President Nixon ordered the Pentagon's biological weapons destroyed, open-air tests of biological agents were conducted 239 times, according to the Army's testimony in 1977 before the Senate's subcommittee on health. In 80 of those experiments, the Army said it used live bacteria that its researchers at the time thought were harmless, such as the Serratia that was showered on San Francisco. In the others, it used inert chemicals to simulate bacteria. SFGate | San Francisco, Biowar test site |
