Klos sued the US Treasure Secretary Henry Paulson, asking for introduction of new commemorative $1 coins that would feature the images of ten men who signed nation's documents as the Presidents before George Washington. The Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005, obliges "…the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of each of the Nation’s past Presidents…".
