Hawaiian 500 BanknoteAn auction held in Rosemont, Illinois offered a very rare Hawaiian banknote, which has never been in circulation. It is a $500 banknote and it was to be printed and launched into circulation back in 1879. Today the Hawaiian 500 banknote exists as a set of proof printings on the front and back plates.
