] Napster, the pioneering online music file swapping
] service, will be relaunched by the end of the year by its
] new owner as a legal subscription service.

Although this is the new, legal form, I can't help but to think that Napster will never be the same. This company should have come up with a new name for its service.

] Have you ever used your computer at night or in low-lit
] environments? There are many applications where computing
] in a low lit environment becomes necessary. For instance,
] have you ever had to work on late night projects for work
] or school? Do you enjoy gaming or surfing the Web late at
] night. If so, you know how troublesome overhead lighting
] can be when you are tired. Most people will turn down
] their overhead lighting just to ease the strain on their
] eyes. Consequently they can no longer see their keys. For
] years people have been faced with this problem, until
] now. We have the solution, introducing the EluminX%u2122
] Illuminated Keyboard!

This is rad!

Wired News: Cell Phones: Dial 'S' for Shock
Topic: Miscellaneous 4:20 pm EST, Feb  5, 2003

] While London's industrial design firm Ideo isn't in the
] business of making ejectable movie theater seats,
] designers at the company have created prototypes for five
] cell phones that enable bystanders to send electric
] shocks, anonymous angry warnings and jarring noises to
] annoying cell-phone users.
] Ideo, which has designed such products as the Palm V
] pocket computer and the TiVo personal video recorder,
] says the public is so irate about inappropriate
] cell-phone use that something has to be done about it.
