What I do know is that there is no DNA evidence that he belonged to the crime, that seven of the nine witnesses either revoked or contradicted their original testimony tying him to the act, and that a gentleman named Sylvester "Redd" Coles is generally assumed that the actual triggerman. But no real case against Mr. Cole has ever made.
