When you have section headings like: B. Plantiffs' Argument that All Executive Acts Are Off-Limits to Legislative Investigation Is Absurdly Detached from Basic Constitutional Principles and the Legislature's Inherent Powers
You know something good is happening. The Troopergate non-injunction is 30 pages of legal hilarity. Lawyers out there? This is the kind of thing you never want to see written against you. Troopergate non-Injunction Decision |

COURIC: Like what ones specifically? PALIN: Umm… all of them. Any of them that have been in front of me over all these years. COURIC: Can you name any of them? PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news… Alaska isn’t a foreign country where it’s kind of suggested it seems like, wow how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, DC may be thinking and doing, when you live up there in Alaska. Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America.
You're right Sarah, the head of the US Government doesn't know how to read either. Crooks and Liars » OMG: Palin can’t name one magazine/newspaper she reads |

Components of the alternative plan including the following, according to sources: * Require the Treasury Department to guarantee, at up to 100 percent, bank losses resulting from failed mortgage-backed securities originated prior to the plan's enactment. Such insurance, supporters say, would provide immediate value to the securities and a foundation for which they could then be sold. The Treasury Department would finance that insurance by assessing a premium on outstanding mortgage-backed securities. * Allow companies to carry back losses arising in tax years ending in 2007, 2008, or 2009 back five years, generating a tax refund and immediate capital
The list goes on from there, but not only does it not deal with the issue, it actually does things that would make this much, much worse. Bailout and Accounting Rules: GOP Members Forging Alternative to Paulson Bailout - Financials * US * News * Story - CNBC.com |

"I do believe we could have gotten there today if it had not been for this partisan speech the speaker gave on the floor of the House," said Boehner.
They voted it down because their feelings were hurt? Here's Pelosi's speech. If that hurt their feelings, then they're a bunch of glass jawed weasels. Go home and don't come back. (Apologies to weasels everywhere for denigrating you. Being compared to the current GOP is an insult to your species, and I am sorry I could not come up with a better analogy which does not slander you for being weasels.) The winless St. Louis Rams fired coach Scott Linehan on Monday, the day after a fourth straight lopsided loss to start the season.
Dead on with the predictions made. Most were thinking he'd last until the bye week. Nope. Better question, why did they ever hire him? The guy was Mike Tice's offensive coordinator, and it's not like the Vikings were burning up the league with their offensive acumen. Winless Rams fire coach Scott Linehan - NFL - Yahoo! Sports |
