This shit simply DID NOT HAPPEN when we were kids! Can you imagine if we DID do this shit? We would no longer be ALIVE, our parents would have killed us. I feel very strongly that I am not capable of raising children in this current world. And even if I was, Ocean County is not the place to do it. I never heard such horrible things in the APP as I have the past week or two. The 10-12 year olds' parents ought to be hung, and the bird-killers' parents ought to be shot alongside their children. I don't care how old you are, if you were raised correctly, you don't DO this stuff. RE: The Trentonian | Ocean County teens get bored, resort to killing exotic birds |

] He would not divulge the Eastern Pequots' list of ] potential casino sites. The tribe has met twice with ] Preston officials about the abandoned Norwich State ] Hospital site, which is situated on the Thames River ] along the most direct route between Foxwoods Resort ] Casino and Mohegan Sun. This article is about Trump wanting a piece of the Connecticut casino action. But what I wanted to address is the Eastern Pequots using the Norwich State Hospital land for their new casino. 1. I -love- abandoned mental hospitals. Marlboro Psychiatric is probably the most beautiful area I've ever seen... unbelievable architecture and gorgeous lands... that's how I feel about Norwich too.. it's just incredible. I will be SO PISSED if they put a casino there. 2. The grounds of Norwich State Hospital are within spitting distance of Mohegan Sun. They are DIRECTLY across the river from one another. Will they run a ferry from one casino to the other? This will make THREE casinos within 10 minutes of each other!! And within 20 minutes of me!! I haven't lived here that long, but I know enough to see that crime and "bad element" have been going up and up and up because of the casinos. Not that I have a problem with them, mind you. There really isn't anything else to do around here, I just have a love-hate relationship with them. Pretty soon, though, if they put in this third casino, New London county is going to become Connecticut's Atlantic City, and I'll be pissed. 3. The Golden Hill Paugussetts should, by all means, build a casino in Bridgeport. Bridgeport is already a slum, a casino could possibly help, and I liked their billboards in Bridgeport when they were fighting for recognition: "Vote for the Golden Hill Paugussetts, The Tribe With a PLAN!". Our power just went out here at work for about 35 minutes. Somewhat unusual, as it was the whole facility, not just the computers but the lights too, shipyard and everything, and not just one building. My power was on at home, so it wasn't the town. But that didn't stop people from speculating. My favorite theory so far: Bush is speaking at the Coast Guard Academy's graduation today, so they turned off the town's power for him. Also I just heard a rumor that the bridge is closed. The INTERSTATE 95 BRIDGE over the Thames River... "Well, if he's coming down by motorcade, they might have to close the bridge!!". I love my town. |
