What happens when you play Counterstrike too much? You end up with a potty mouth. And some enemies: So, the story goes that co-worker A got sick of co-worker B's constant profanity whilst playing Counter Strike. Co-worker A then hid a microphone next to co-worker B's desk, and captured this stream of rantings. Then, as co-worker A was a member of an electronic music-making concern, he endeavored to edit it all together. The end result was this: The Terrible Mr. G. The Terrible Mr. G |

] Once you've got your duct tape and plastic sheeting, ] Homeland Security suggests choosing a room in your home ] that is internal (not facing the street or yard) and ] large enough to accommodate your family in the case of ] attack. According to the HSD website, "ten square feet of ] floor space per person will provide sufficient air to ] prevent carbon dioxide build-up for up to five hours." ] ] You've got your room picked out - now what? Drivers urged to hunt for cheaper gas |

] American drivers should shop aggressively for gasoline ] bargains in the face of "dramatic" and questionable price ] increases, the auto club AAA said Tuesday. So basically, they think we should drive around looking for gas which is a penny or two cheaper per gallon? What's that save you, maybe ten cents? A quarter? How much gas do you waste in the meantime looking for cheaper gas? I mean, okay, when we go down to New Jersey to visit friends/family, we fill up there because it's cheaper than in NY or CT. But around town? All the gas prices are about the same, PENNIES different. I think driving around to find it cheaper just wastes more money and fuel. Which contributes to the problem. What do you ] have?! Well it's not like I spent it all at the same time!! I've built up my collection slowly over the last few years. Telescope itself: $600. Computer Control: $149 Bincoculars: $160 (got them on sale though, actually I got two pairs, but I only use one for astronomy, so I'll just count the one pair. $160. They're that good.) Field Tripod: $200 Table tripod: $35 Camera: $300 Carrying case for telescope: $200 Eyepieces: $89, $59, $79 Right-angle viewfinder: $55(?) Adapter to attach camera to telescope: $45 and $24 (one piece for the telescope and one for the camera) Filters: LPR (light pollution reduction)- $67; Moon filter (for when the moon is full.. it's hard to see detail, you need a neutral density filter) $20 I'd guess there's about another $100-$150 worth of miscellaneous stuff I have (books, charts, other accessories). So yes, around $2K. It adds up quickly, but that's the price you pay for an interesting hobby! My current wish list includes another $300 worth of stuff. RE: How To Spend $60K on Home Astronomy |
