] Many adult fans had become disenfranchised by the teen ] pop, gangsta rap and hard rock that was being boosted by ] the industry as the hot new thing. I bought Norah's CD back in the spring, when I first heard her single on a jazzy station. I hope we finally start to move away from the crap we've been hearing on mainstream radio lately, because that jazzy station doesn't come in too well anywhere but my sitting room. Will Norah Jones' win affect radio? |

] The president, often portrayed as using a strict ] good-and-evil compass to navigate national issues, has ] always peppered his speeches with exhortations to moral ] and civic duty. And with war, tragedy and terrorism ] confronting him all at once, Bush's allusions to ] spirituality and morality seem to be increasing. I went to Catholic grade school, high school, and college, and while that effectively made me lose all my religious leanings, I still have respect for people who turn to whatever God they worship during times of need. And I even respect Bush feeling that he has to turn to God during his times of need. But to continually announce his faith every time he makes a speech is just wrong of him. Not all Americans are Christian, some Americans do not worship at all. One of the many, many reasons I'm voting for whoever is NOT BUSH next time around. ] These weapons are made to cause panic, terror, and to ] demoralize. If we don't run around like sheep they won't ] use this stuff after they find out it's no fun. The ] government is going nuts over this stuff because they ] have to protect every inch of America. You've only gotta ] protect yourself, and by doing that, you help the ] country. This could be done better, but its interesting nonetheless. Its very matter of fact. People don't fear what they understand.
