After exasperated passengers asked if ] he knew where he was going, the driver got on the public ] address system and made a remark he would soon regret. ] ] "I'm taking you to the Taliban," Weisbrot heard him say. ] "Don't worry about it." ] ] It was a bad, nonsensical joke, everyone agrees now. But ] with the specter of war with Iraq looming and Osama bin ] Laden still at large, America is hardly in a lighthearted ] mood."
