This year I was thinking to myself, thank God I don't have to fly home or anything to see my family, because airports will be a disaster. But I quickly realized.. I have to contend with the Tappan Zee, which is under a permanent state of construction. It's either that, or the George Washington. Neither choice turns me on. I'd rather stay home alone and have a TV dinner than go deal with Dysfunctional Family Weekend. The traffic scene reinforces my beliefs that I should stay home. And I believe everyone else should too.
