What the hell is wrong with parents these days? This is why I changed my major in college. No more teaching. I can't stand kids because I can't stand their goddamned stupid parents. So psychology is it now. Find out what the hell is wrong with kids these days. Guess what? It's their parents.
Where'd the kid get the alcohol, lighter fluid, and video camera? If his parents were keeping an eye on him, he wouldn't have made it out of the house with that stuff without getting questioned. Yeah I know he's 15, and yeah I know we did stupid shit back then too, and it sounds cliche' but it's true: times have changed..
I'll tell you a little story about how stupid parents can be, not because it has anything to do with this dumbass kid doing a "Jackass" stunt and burning the shit out of himself, but because it's funny and I'll use any excuse to tell it..
When my boyfriend was about 12 or 13, he bought an assload of fireworks from a friend. Well he set some off in the backyard and his parents came home early and found him exploding things. His parents decided that the best way to teach him a lesson was to BURY THE FIREWORKS IN THE BACKYARD. -HELLO-... they'll DE-STABILIZE. So now that he's moved away from home, his parents are left with a shitload of explosives in the backyard, just waiting to detonate. Any day now.. it's been like 12 years... Now that's parenting!!!!
My point is, kids these days are out of control and parents aren't helping. They're just turning a blind eye to the things their kids are doing. "My kid tried this because he saw it on TV".. Teach your kid the difference between fantasy, stupidity, and reality, and maybe your kid wouldn't pull that stupid crap. Oh, and while you're at it, KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHILDREN.
