The plugins Trac alone is far from ready even for non-tech users, let alone customer. You need to install at least 7 plugins, 3 admin side and 4 users side. * TracAccountManager * TracCustomFieldAdmin * TracWebAdmin * TracPrivateTickets * TracSimpleTicket * TracPermRedirect * TracContentFilter
Trac sucks for non-techies and customers. This can fix it. How we made trac customer friendly :: SpikeLab.org - a geek's playground |

The casino was very popular and a lot of top players would play there when they were visiting the LA area. This caused a problem - lines for games, especially Poker, would get too long and players would get impatient. The owner of the casino, a man I've never met, came up with a brilliant idea: install several pinball machines to keep the waiting list happy. Among the machines involved was Bally's Addams Family Pinball, the top-selling pinball machine of all time. At first only one machine was installed, but it proved to be so popular that 2 more were installed, and then another 2. Soon, a whole bank of Addams Family Pinball machines was installed on the floor, at the expense of a couple of poker tables. At the time, I was playing mid-stakes lowball, usually limit Razz or no-limit deuce-seven triple draw. The limit stakes ranged for $30-$60 to $100-$200 blinds for me, as I worked up my bankroll from playing just $2-$4 and $3-$6 limits. The Addams Family game, however, piqued my interest, and I played the game frequently as a break or while on the waiting list. I became quite good and had challenged several of the top spots on the machine. At the same time (and unbeknownst to me), several players were making prop bets at the machine. A prop bet is short for proposition bet and is just what it sounds - two players agree on a something to wager, agree on a pay structure, and then play to determine the winner. A typical conversation might go like so: "Hey Johnny, I'll bet you that I can break 100,000,000 points this game. What do you say we put $1,000 on it?" "No way. You're too good. Give me 2-to-1."

CHICAGO — The Boeing Co. delayed its 787 jetliner program again Tuesday, pushing back its expected debut in commercial service to the third quarter of 2009 as it continues to grapple with problems involving its supply chain and the need to redo work done by contractors. The newest delays push the 787's schedule back approximately another six months and mean the aircraft touted for its potential to be more fuel-efficient than other large jets is now more than a year behind its original schedule.

When we got contacted by ISC reader Greg in Hungary, whose web server had been hacked and adorned with a couple of obfuscated JavaScript files, we expected a variant of the "nmidahena" injection and a closed case. JavaScript is an interpreted language, and while the obfuscation attempts we see are getting more creative, the scripts can usually still be coerced quite easily into divulging their secrets. ISC handler Lenny Zeltser teaches the SANS course on malware analysis, and ISC handler Bojan Zdrnja wrote the portion on JavaScript analysis for that course, so we are usually able to make short work of bad stuff. Not so this time. This one was something new.

What Font Color Is Best For Eyes? |

Green on black terminal windows are the way they are for the same reason old oscilloscopes and radar displays were green on black - it's more cost effective to make a cathode ray tube that glows green. For a long damn time, all terminals came green-on-black, simply because that was the cheapest way to pair a CRT with a keyboard, and hardware terminals were what they used back before PC's were popular. Or invented. The result of this was horrific eyestrain. Yes, some people can handle bright colored text on a black background. Most get eyestrain or worse, migraines. This is especially so if you switch from green-on-black to black-on-white (like a printed page). Typists and transcriptionists and grad students and pretty much anyone who needed to refer to a printed reference hated it. In the early '80s, color monitors were pretty much crap for text (too fuzzy, not enough resolution) so there was a boom in the production of "amber" monitors. These used monochrome CRTs that phosphoresced a muted yellow-orange. This wasn't quite as jarring to the eyes. Then someone came up with paper-white monochrome CRT's, and that was pretty much all she wrote for greenscreens. Geeks keep it alive, because of nostalgia and tradition. It's looks high-tech and cool, because there was a time when it was high-tech and cool - and because there is an association with Unix, and by extension, Linux. What's more Unix than a DEC vt100 terminal hooked up to a PDP-11? Nothing. That's about as close to the metal as you can get without a soldering iron. But, please, for the sake of your eyes and the eyes of others, don't pretend there is any inherent advantage to green-on-black for the vast majority of users.

Question Do adult film companies have casting calls or auditions? If so what part of the country do you have to go to do this? Answer Some companies do have open casting calls or auditions. These are usually held at the studios and are advertised well in advance. Casting calls are like cattle calls since they get the models to one location and because of the sheer nature of applicants they will just go over the basics of the project, have you fill out the applicable paperwork, verify your ID and take some photos of you. Standard qualifying photos are as follows- • Head shot • Full body shot- front nude • Full body shot- back nude • Full body shot- side nude
