A personal journal, with short stories to come. A bit over focused on masturbation owing to the author's current state of unwanted celibacy, but humorous nonetheless. I particularly enjoyed the entry, "Bloody Orgasmak." The Peyompian Online Journal |

I thought I'd memed this guy in the past, but in any case he is a fucking bad ass. Every whacked out questionably legal high tech doomsday weapon that you and your buddies have always talked about making but no one ever bothered to actually start working on THIS guy has made. And its all right here. The Mad Russian |

] Quicksilver is an evolving framework for accessing and ] manipulating many forms of personal data. ] Existing modules include a launcher, a clipboard ] recorder, and a shelf. This is a truly awesome launcher app for OSX. Using keywords you type in, it launches a dynamic menu for picking to launch apps, open documents, visit bookmarks, etc. Its that much less you have to take your hands off the keyboard. This may be the latest must have app for OSX. I continue to be very pleased with the overall evolution of OSX as a workstation platform. Jello: Aaaaawwwww SHEYAT! This is the bomb on my trust iBook. I'm getting some Question Mark Stencils tomorrow and I'm doing this mother up like the riddler in honor of this cool new app. Blacktree - Quicksilver - Mac OXS launcher |

Unfamiliar software has been a frequent excuse for Windows users not to switch to Linux. A lot of work is being done to undo this reasoning, not by bringing closed Microsoft software to Linux, but by bringing the benefits of open-source Linux software to Windows. Cross-platform versions of most popular Linux desktop applications are available today, including the GIMP image editor, StarOffice/OpenOffice office suite, the Mahogany e-mail client, the Amaya WYSIWYG Web Editor and many web browsers, including Mozilla and Opera. These all run on Linux and Windows, and some even support Macintosh. GFX: Porting Gothello, An exercise in porting Linux applications to Windows is made easier using GUI toolkits like GTK+. |

] LibTarga is a library for reading and writing images in ] the TARGA image file format. It was written by Alex Mohr ] for use by students in CS559, and for other graphics ] projects. This document is meant to give you a basic idea ] of how to use libtarga within the CS environment at UW. ] For more complete documentation Refer to the code. A nice, simple library for reading and writing all varities of Targa Files. Targa is a VERY simple image format, so it is convenient for storing your shit when doing image/video analysis. Also, I use targa because 3DSMax can output animations to a series of Targas, one for each output frame. I use these as test input for my video analysis code.
