Miniature displays in color could appear on consumer-goods packaging, including medicine vials, in 2007, with a resolution of 80 dpi, Gerlt said. Three or more images could flash consecutively, creating a crude animation effect or cycling through multiple messages. By 2008, the resolution could double, said Gerlt.

-- President Bush is requesting $1.5 billion more to help make the levee system in New Orleans, Louisiana, stronger than it was before Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast.
Ok, this just lowered my opinion of Bush. Why the F@#$ is the FED spending any money on this? This is the responsibility of LA. I understand there are benefits (oil processing, etc) to the country as whole, but it's not the job of the rest of America to protect LA. from water. So let's see, we have the raise tax and spend liberals, and now the lower tax and spend republicans. CNN.com - White House asks?for $1.5B billion more?for levees - Dec 15, 2005 |

As Thursday's edition of the Guardian reported in London: ''French youths fired at police and burned over 300 cars last night as towns around Paris experienced their worst night of violence in a week of urban unrest.'' ''French youths,'' huh? You mean Pierre and Jacques and Marcel and Alphonse? Granted that most of the "youths" are technically citizens of the French Republic, it doesn't take much time in les banlieus of Paris to discover that the rioters do not think of their primary identity as ''French'': They're young men from North Africa growing ever more estranged from the broader community with each passing year and wedded ever more intensely to an assertive Muslim identity more implacable than anything you're likely to find in the Middle East. After four somnolent years, it turns out finally that there really is an explosive ''Arab street,'' but it's in Clichy-sous-Bois.
Cool, at least someone has it right. Wake up, Europe, you've a war on your hands |

'US does not torture,' Bush says
That depends the definition of torture I guess. I for one gain from others frsutration. For example, when liberals hear Bush speak - I feeeed off the feelings libs generate. Oh man it's good. Honestly, if it weren't for the reactions and comments on most liberals, I would probably be one. But it's not that I agree with Repbulicans, it's because the liberals make me hate them so much I have to side with the lesser of two losers. BBC NEWS | Americas | 'US does not torture,' Bush says |

Michael Steele wishes Maryland Democrats would live up to Martin Luther King’s standard of judging people by their character and not the color of their skin.
What an idiot. He is a black republican - and he expects that black democrats will treat him with respect? OMG - they are tossing Oreo cookies at him. I expected no less from the dems. Yeah yeah, and Condi Rice isn't a "real" black, and neither is Powell. That is, unless they changed their political affiliation of course. Michael Steele Calls Critics Racist |
