I love the USAF. F22 + F35 = total air dominance!

Oh .. check out the helmet the pilot uses for the F35.

Interesting story on how our government is trying to protect us from Nukes... One could take this as an invasion to privacy - I personally like the idea; but perhaps the technology needs to be tweaked a little to not pick up radioactive cats.

Welcome to Mars express: only a three hour trip

This sorta' makes me wish I was born 20-50 years from now, so this was more of a reality.

If you think about how far we've come in the 1900's.... then hopefully before the end of the 2000's we'd have this technology and it'd be mainstream.

WASHINGTON — House lawmakers approved legislation early Monday that would complete the transition to all-digital television broadcasts by Feb. 17, 2009.

These guys are sooo slow.

I hear they are also approving legislation that would complete the transition from 8-tracks to a MUCH smaller and more compact format called Cassette Tapes.

TEHRAN, Iran — Hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has banned Western music from Iran's radio and TV stations, reviving one of the harshest cultural decrees from the early days of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

The majority of Iranians are young and probably are not happy with this decision - which will only bring more resentment towards their government.

On the other hand, American Military enthusists like me get to beat the drums of war just a little louder today.

Here's a graph of google's stock price from around the time they went public to now.

I don't suggest anyone buy the stuff at $430 a share.

The F-22A Raptor -- Air Force’s most advanced weapon system -- is ready for combat, Air Force officials announced here today.

It's ready.

Heavy kudo's to Lockheed Martin and the wonderful people at the United States Military - the future of air power has arrived.

You think the $2 billion B2-Bombers are bad ass - these not as pricey ( $200+ mil ) fighters are a generation ahead of anything on planet Earth.

Miniature displays in color could appear on consumer-goods packaging, including medicine vials, in 2007, with a resolution of 80 dpi, Gerlt said. Three or more images could flash consecutively, creating a crude animation effect or cycling through multiple messages. By 2008, the resolution could double, said Gerlt.

Neato.
