The reason, I think, is that there are certain basic pleasures of the ancient world that one has to work very hard to come by today. We've cut ourselves off from things that even our grandfathers took for granted.
I used to sail like a mad man back when I lived in New Orleans. If you ever wanna go up to lanier some day I can see how much I can scare you in a rental. Though, for a better experience I would recomend a big boat (at least 25 feet) and open water, like SC or Savannah or Emerald Coast. RE: Why I want to learn to sail... |

Riches claims that Vick sold the pilfered pooches on eBay and used the proceeds to purchase missles from the Iranian government, that he has "plead (sic) allegiance to Al-quaeda" and has subjected Riches to "microwave testing."
I wonder which is funnier, the lawsuit, or the fact that someone put it in a (supposedly) reputable newspaper. I guess now that World Weekly News is gone, the main stream players need to fill in the void. Prisoner sues Vick for $63 billion, ties to Al-Quaeda | ajc.com |

Don't wanna give away vulns for free? Try auctioning to the newly formed market. Charlie Miller, now the principal security analyst at Independent Security Evaluators, said the demands for payments stem from frustrations that vendors' in-house researchers "are making a lot of money to look for bugs and whenever someone from the outside finds something, they don't get paid anything." Preatoni described his auction as a way for researchers to receive what their knowledge is truly worth, saying the security industry is currently built on top of research that is undervalued.
Although researchers historically have shared knowledge for free, "there's been a market that has naturally evolved where this information is power," said Ken Durham, director of the rapid response team with VeriSign-iDefense. "Our concern is people would start to turn to the dark side unless they had a responsible avenue." Terri Forslof, who runs TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative, said programs like hers can never pay as much as the black market, but most legitimate researchers are willing to accept smaller payments knowing the buyer would handle the information responsibly.

After hearing some IRC chit chat, I ran across this "adult only" Harry Potter fan fiction site. Unfortunately you have to register an account just to even peak at the rather ... interesting content. Hello, and welcome to the Restricted Section. In the wake of fanfiction.net's decision to remove all NC-17 content, a group of Harry Potter fanfiction authors decided to open a new archive devoted to adult Potterfic. This means that this site is strictly for people over the age of 18. If you are underage, perhaps the The Leaky Cauldron or FictionAlley would be more to your liking.

Most likely you have sen a headline like this somewhere, but if not ... the #2 independent (as in isn't an ISP or Cable provider) VoIP provider up and disappeared with 200,000 customers left wondering while having no official notification. The website works, my phone still works, but voice mail doesn't and no one answers customer service. Don't forget, the #1 provider, Vonage, with 2 million customers is still in court proceedings with Verizon. Poor cheap ass VoIP. I wonder who my VoIP account is going to get sold to. Hostrocket.com?
