[IP] British Prime Minister Tony Blair cross-examined on the BBC
Topic: Current Events 4:25 pm EST, Mar  5, 2003

This is very good. Tony Blair is asked many of the questions that one might ask him about this Iraq situation, and is taken to task, and he defends his position. Both good critical journalism and well handled by Blair as well. However, its an hour and a half long. Be prepared.

LDAP to DNS gateway
Topic: Technology 4:23 pm EST, Mar  5, 2003

ldap2dns is a program to create DNS (Domain Name Service) records directly from a LDAP directory. It can and should be be used to replace the secondary name-server by a second primary one.
ldap2dns reduces all kind of administration overhead: No more flat file editing, no more zone file editing. After having installed ldap2dns, the administrator only has to access the LDAP directory.
Optionally she can add access control for each zone, create a GUI and add all other kind of zone and resource record information without interfering with the DNS server.

Now you have to appreciate this!

Ice Hockey Fight Could End Up in Criminal Court
Topic: Miscellaneous 2:08 am EST, Mar  5, 2003

] An on-ice hockey fight could end up in criminal court. It
] all started as a rec league hockey game in Franklin, but
] detectives say it quickly escalated, and now there are
] assault charges against a player.

I have a few things to say about this:

1) I know both players and I'm shocked.
2) I know both referees and they are extraordinary
3) Southern Ice is usually considered a creme puff league compared to Sportsplex, so this is also surprising
4) Considering some of the stuff that's gone on at Sportsplex, I'm surprised that this made the news and that someone is pressing charges
5) I'm REALLY glad I wasn't there, either playing or ref'ing!
