I thought this author was trying to hard, but I enjoyed this anyway... All past scenes. All mummified in vintage yellow police tape, displaying warding epithets in four different languages. They were all the abandoned stages of other players. The disarrayed remnants of a wild performance with abused props still scattered where they had been disposed of. This time, I figured, it was my own stage, my own script and my own trio of acts. Somewhere distant, past the imperceptibly sprawling borders of the city. I saw the fragments of an origami Bengal tiger folded by your hands crumble and scatter on an unbound wind, and wished I was there. fragments of an origami tiger |

] Frustrated after months of trying to solve Kryptos................. Elonka says: Heh. This is the page of one of the other cryptographers who's working on Kryptos. He created a 3D model of the sculpture, and then imported it into a Half-Life engine so that he could take a crowbar to it. Scroll down to the bottom to see the screenshots. I kinda sympathize.... ;) Kryptos and crowbars |

I thought I'd memed this guy in the past, but in any case he is a fucking bad ass. Every whacked out questionably legal high tech doomsday weapon that you and your buddies have always talked about making but no one ever bothered to actually start working on THIS guy has made. And its all right here. The Mad Russian |

METHODOLOGY: The numbers on this page are based on contributions from PACs, soft money donors, and individuals giving $200 or more. (Only those groups giving $5,000 or more are listed here.) In many cases, the organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates. All donations took place during the 2003-2004 election cycle and were released by the Federal Election Commission on Monday, March 29, 2004. ... Shows the breakdown of contributions to Democrats and Republicans from major broadcasters. Of interest, Sinclair is #9 on the list. 2% to the Democrats, 98% to the Republicans. I'd like to see ABC's donations as well, guess I'll be Googling tomorrow. Top Contributors: TV/Radio Stations |

Sinclair's statement on their decision to cancel the Koppel broadcast. I meme this because I prefer raw arguement to a journalist's summary thereof. Reach your own conclusions. So newspapers all over the planet are blaring these pictures today on the front page, but the issue seems to be 3rd page news in the domestic American media and the pictures are very difficult to locate online. Here they are. This isn't all of them but its enough. The soldiers explanations about having not gotten proper guidance from management seems ridiculous in light of the photographs. It should be obvious to anyone that this behavior is inappropriate. In case you haven't seen the stories, the individual on the box has been told that if he falls off the box he will be electrocuted... The Abu Ghraib Prison Photos |

Turns out this is an FTC investigation for fraud and the Spam charges are just an add on. This probably doesn't mean they've actually started enforcing these laws in general.
