"The space rock missed our planet Friday by only 75,000 miles (120,000 km), about one-third the distance to the moon, making the near collision one of the closest ever recorded. " I hope they get a clue and fund some prevention measures for this stuff. Its only a matter of time before we get whacked by one. CNN.com - Surprise asteroid nearly hits home - June 20, 2002 |

This is an off shore site that is using a form of steganography to hide itself from record industry web spiders. Looks like they've had the domain since 1999. This is real crime. I definately don't recommend that you use this site. However, its existence and method of operation is interesting nonetheless. Islands in the net.... simplemp3s.com |

You can take a road trip to New York and play the Black Course at Bethpage for about $40, but if your golf is anything like mine you'll probably score over 200. Another option is to download this course file. Its quite accurate, and gives you an idea of what the US Open players are dealing with. I don't know what I hate more about it, the sand traps, or the elevation changes... This is a very hard golf course. Bethpage Black for Links 2001 |

"Part of the inhumanity of the computer is that, once it is competently programmed and working smoothly, it is completely honest." I just wanted to comment on this quote. Maybe the line between things that are alive and things that are not alive is that living things act purposefully to their own advantage, whereas things that are not alive are too simple to do so or simply aren't working correctly. "On the following pages, you will be invited to imagine a simple scene, and you will be given a space in which to write down what you imagine. Be as detailed and exacting as you'd like. This is your game and your private adventure. There are no right and no wrong answers, so let your imagination run free." I think this is silly, but its fun. The sort of ladder you imagine has more to do with the sort of ladders you've used in the past then what you think about your friends... Cube Game |

"Golf as we know it today originated from a game played on the eastern coast of Scotland in the Kingdom of Fife during the 15th century. Players would hit a pebble around a natural course of sand dunes, rabbit runs and tracks using a stick or primitive club. " A History of Golf since 1497 part 1 |

"Fortune 100 corporations, small firms and even Internet service providers with strong security have an Achilles heel: users who pick easily guessable passwords" There simply isn't any news today. News sites across the net are really stretching to come up with something to write about. You should stop reading the internet, go outside, and play golf. A day without news |
