This is an article, albiet rather short, about placing yellow chairs at or near places which have openly free wireless connectivity to encourage use of the facilities. The yellow chair concept is borne from the Yellow Bike project, where several cities have implemented free bicycles, painted yellow, which can be ridden from place to place without worry of rent, upkeep, etc. Yellow Chairs for Free WiFi |

If phone companies thought they could get away with it, you’d have this: “I’m sorry, all circuits to Domino’s Pizza are currently busy. Would you like to be connected to our preferred pizza provider instead?”
I think that states it pretty effectively. How much longer until AOL is redirecting sites to "preferred" providers? Why the net _should_ be neutral |

This is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. You can have a skeleton tattooed on your skin that only shows up in blacklight. Rock. UV Ink Tattoos? |

I need to find more technical info on how to use these RFID tags; last thing I read said something like 13.88MHz and 902-928MHz, but I really wonder. I wonder why we're seeing this for RFID tags but not for proximity badges like the HIDcard and whatnot. Maybe one of those is a more mature technology. ;-) RFID Cloning and Reading |

Monday there will be a meeting at Kennesaw College: Date: May 8, 2006 Time: 10:00am Location: Room 300 Speakers: Calvin Hill, Representative who sponsored the bill, and John Villanes, Chairman, Georgia Board of Private Detectives It would be nice to see anyone that cares at all about this topic. REALLY if you care - make arrangements to be there. It does matter and I think we can all make a difference even if it means banding together. The Governor has to make a choice by Tuesday to Sign or Veto.
