Neat! I would have expected the timing protocol to fall apart before then, but if it works...
This makes me want to revisit my idea of going Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) communication with WiFi. Only problem is that you're throwing a shitload of power into it and at those frequencies if you can visually see the antenna, it'll fry your eyeballs (well, ok, not fry, more like poach).
So, ah... I got jumped walking home from a bar. I'm alive, got a bump on my head. By some fortune the police were on top of it faster than anything I've ever seen, which almost amuses me because I have pending charges against the city...
