Once again I find myself out of work. Not just out of work, but the reasons given were that my department found itself reorganizing. I have a pretty good lead on the how/why; a friend of mine went to work for another company for a few months and got a return offer within 90 days. He passed up a permanent job for a contract job -- and he's going into management. Fun. So I got kicked out of a company because my shithead friend got made manager, and I was let go to eliminate any conflicts of interest.

Sigh. Must life always be this interesting? I guess I'll go back to reading Machiavelli.
