] Foods, the maker of Oreos, seeking to ban the cookies in
] California because they contain trans fats, which exist
] in hydrogenated oil. That oil is found in 40 percent of
] prepared foods, including most cookies, crackers and
] microwave popcorn, according to the United States
] Department of Agriculture.

In 30 years, the obesity epidemic in this country may well look like smoking does today -- like a major public health problem. Nevertheless,this is pretty silly. People need to be responsible for the consequences of their choices at some point
