] ] SCO isn't putting out press releases like it used to. ] Surely it wants you to know that it has cooked up yet ] another way to be loathsome to Linux. ] ] It will expand its licensing program (because it's been ] such a success, I'm sure) and now they will be "offering ] a migration path" so their customers can escape Linux and ] return to proprietary operating systems. Note the plural, ] please. Like, for example, Unix, even a competitor's ] Unix. Some say they mean Microsoft. Well, well. Why ever ] might they want to send their customers to Microsoft? Speaking of huffing glue... The latest nonsense from sco |

My landline rang yesterday morning ... was someone conducting a survey on domain registrars. So rather than hang up on them, I said "ok." It became fairly clear that I was on their list because I had transferred a domain away from v$/nsi in the past few months (gloop.org -- sort of a long story why I hadn't moved it sooner). So I took the opportunity to stick it to v$/nsi -- "No, I didn't switch just because of price and even if their price were competitive, I still wouldn't switch back." Big question: who paid for this survey? v$/nsi? The corporate raiders who just bought nsi from v$? |
