] What is this cloud thing? Well...photos are posted here ] on this site randomly distributed over time from several ] users scattered all over the world (mostly Europe). A ] cloud here is defined to simply be a meltdown of these ] images into one single image - an image that obviously ] becomes more and more chaotic over time. Oddly enough it is much more than just a random collage. It really tells quite a story, albeit non-linear. Peffisaur - A Multiuser MMS Weblog Community |

"In 1977, Gunther von Hagens invented the plastination technique which marked the beginning of a second anatomical revolution. Andreas Vesalius who created precise anatomical drawings as early as in 1543 was the pioneer of modern anatomy. Since then human corpses have slowly disappeared again from the human eye with the establishment of medical schools. A taboo emerged. Gunther von HagensÂ’ plastinated bodies obviously touch upon this taboo and trigger controversial reactions throughout the world. The high number of visitors, however, proves the general populationÂ’s need to learn more about the structure and functions of their bodies." This is in LA 'till January. I can't wait to see it. My kids are giving it a pass. Display of Placticized and Dissected Corpses |

] Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia in the original trilogy, has ] said that "When George was directing, he'd only say ] two things: 'faster' or 'more intense.'" Fire Lucas ] as director, who has no sense of control over his ] storyline, encourages flat and affectless acting, and ] shellacs every scene with such a frenzy of special ] effects that they assault your senses like a strobe ] light. Amen brother. That "running through the fields love montage" in Episode II was of 1pm-on-a-Sunday-TBS-made-for-TV shit. Lucas is sinking some of my favorite childhood memories with the crap he's been filming. I have a feeling I'm only going to show my kids Starwars 4-6, and any kids at school who tell them there are 3 more Starwars movies are just lying like the time they said Santa wasn't real. "Notes: This word combines pomo, shorthand for postmodern, with the suffix -sexual. Although she didn't invent the word, pomosexual was made famous (in certain circles, anyway) by editor Carol Queen who used it in the title of a 1997 anthology of essays, PoMoSexuals: Challenging Assumptions About Gender and Sexuality (Cleis Press). On the back cover of the book, PoMoSexual is described, unhelpfully, as the "erotic reality beyond the boundaries of gender, separatism, and essentialist notions of sexual orientation." The Word Spy tracks the creation of new words, complete with citations. A silly Orkut thread on alternatives to the word "metrosexual" (one guy proposed "fauxmosexual", I thought that rather clever) let on a linguistic browse. Be sure to check out the latest additions like "chofa", "job spill" and "cankle". Faux-mos, Pomos and Other Linguistic Creations |

] I travel a lot and one of my favorite destination lead ] through poisoned with radiation, so called Chernobyl ] "dead zone" It is 130kms from my home. Why favourite? ] because one can ride there for hours and not meet any ] single car and not to see any single soul. People left ] and nature is blooming, there are beautiful places, ] woods, lakes. There is no newly built roads, but those ] which left from 80th in fairly good condition This is absolutely stunning, spellbinding. Photoblogging Chernobyl |

"Hi, I am Wing! I immigrated to New Zealand with my family about ten years ago from Hong Kong. I have been learning singing in New Zealand and I do performances in Rest Homes and Hospitals and occasionally promotional concerts as I go along. I released my first CD Phantom Of The Opera and got a grant from the Manukau City Council for promotion. Then I released I Could Have Danced All Night and The Sound Of Music. My latest CDs are called "Wing Sings The Carpenters" and "Wing Sings All your favourites". This is astonishing. They may well qualify as WMDs. Worst. Voice. Ever. |

These 9 drawings were done by an artist under the influence of LSD -- part of a test conducted by the US government during it's dalliance with psychotomimetic drugs in the late 1950's. The artist was given a dose of LSD 25 and free access to an activity box full of crayons and pencils. His subject is the medico that jabbed him. First drawing is done 20 minutes after the first dose (50ug) An attending doctor observes - Patient chooses to start drawing with charcoal. The subject of the experiment reports - 'Condition normal... no effect from the drug yet'. Acid trip 1 |

"This webpage will redirect you to a Google image search using a random search term based on the filename scheme used by many popular digital cameras. What results is the most random, random sampling of pictures." What a playfield for our pattern-seeking brains! "What is the story here? And now, what about them?" Like a creativity tool for storytelling. The Google random picture generator |
