] One woman, curvy and statuesque in her nude shot, looks ] dumpy in an oversized T-shirt tucked into baggy cargo ] pants. Naked, she's as feminine and sexy as a woman can ] be. Clothed, she downplays breasts and hips and hides her ] waist. Eric muses that she deliberately uses clothing to ] neutralize her gender; I think she just thinks she's fat ] and hasn't watched What Not to Wear. Celebrating the Body Beautiful |

] "Toronto Crime Stoppers" posts crime scene photos in which ] victim(s) and perpetrator(s) have been digitally removed. The ] batch of images linked in this post once depicted acts of violent ] sexual abuse of a nine-year-old girl, but now contain only ] inanimate objects -- a sofa, a bed, a wall, a water fountain. ] They're published online with a public request that anyone who ] recognizes the site contact authorities. Your whole life you live in sunshine Light, Innocent, Warm One small moment in time and the whole world crumbles One instant and its gone. Life as you know it is over Cry, Beg, Plead But you can never get it back! No matter how hard you struggle for it you can never get it back It is over and you are reeling in confusion Dark, Desolate, Cold You scream Why me?! Enraged enough to expect an answer Truly Why me but then again why anyone Truly bad things happen to good people All the sudden you find yourself questioning everything you have ever known to be true Everything you have lived your whole life by is suddenly questionable A shiver courses through your body as you are overcome with loneliness Alone, Empty, Numb There is no God! There cant be a God! If there is how could he do these things? Why does it have to hurt so bad? Hollow, Tired, Hopeless As you break down and fall to your knees the hollowness grows Your world comes crashing down around you You urn to truly believe everything will be ok You long for the warm tenderness of a familiar touch You are soon overcome with the realization that life as you know it is over You no longer contain the will to live Your body and mind are totally exhausted You give up the fight and slowly slip into the cold darkness Close by another child is born in to the warm, bright, innocence that you could no longer find. |

] Cochran Shoals Unit ] Joggers, walkers trail bikers, and dog walkers make this ] one of the busiest park units in the CRNRA. At 9:04 a.m. ] on a Friday morning, 46 cars were counted in the parking ] lot as health and fitness enthusiasts started their ] routines. An expansive floodplain and wetlands area, ] often 2,500 feet wide, parallels the river. Here a 3-mile ] fitness trail has been installed with 22 exercise ] stations. This unit also provides access to the only ] bicycle trail in the CRNRA, a yellow-blazed trail which ] winds through Cochran Shoals and the neighboring Sope ] Creek Unit. Biker speed limit is 10 mph. ] Facilities: Picnic area, hiking trail, fitness trail, ] bike trail access ] Directions: From I-285, exit west onto Northside Parkway. ] Turn left onto Interstate North Parkway. Cross the river ] and turn right into Cochran Shoals parking lot. This might be worth a try since it is not very far away Chattahoochee in Atlanta |

] Bound in the kind of thick, stain-proof pages usually ] employed for preschool boardbooks, this cookbook dumbs ] down basic recipes to inventive new lows. Rather ] than saute or simmer, readers are instructed to "dump" ] and "nuke" ingredients, as in a recipe for Sweet and Sour ] Meatballs, which requires a can of crushed pineapples, a ] can of sloppy joe sauce and a pound of frozen precooked ] meatballs. Other recipes not for the faint of heart ] include Slab O'Ham with Redeye Gravy (essentially ] microwaved slices of canned ham in a coffee/pork sauce ] gravy) and Hot Slam Dunk, a dip that calls for ] mayonnaise, sour cream, canned artichoke hearts, spinach ] and a few other ingredients to be microwaved together for ] several minutes. (The authors award "Extra credit" to ] those who pour the mixture into a hollowed-out loaf of ] pumpernickel.) I bought this book for a friend recently and thought it might be interesting to some of the cooking challenged people here. It is part of a series of books by men's health that are so dummy proof that it even has pictures of the ingredients that you need to get at the grocery. It also gives you the nutritional info and helpful tips. Check it out, you can preview some of the pages on amazon. A Man, a Can, a Plan : 50 Tasty Meals You Can Nuke in No Time |

] Hundreds, perhaps thousands of lives could have been ] saved had the United States government taken action to ] rescue people claiming American citizenship. Often it did ] just the opposite, creating obstacles that impeded ] Americans from obtaining the necessary documents to ] escape from the Nazis. ] In 1939, more than 80,000 American citizens were believed ] to be living abroad. State Department officials held that ] citizens who had no apparent intention of returning to ] the United States could not expect their government to ] feel any obligation to protect them. An even deeper ] prejudice lay behind this viewpoint: the belief that ] citizens returning from abroad would become "welfare" ] cases. ] In fact, officials planned to decide whom they wanted to ] allow to return to the United States. The official ] responsible for helping U.S. citizens overseas, ] Breckinridge Long, said in June 1942 that Americans in ] Germany awaiting repatriation "ought to be examined and ] only those we want should be accepted" I ran across this article while doing some research. This is the first time I've heard anything about known U.S. citizens being in concentration camps. U.S. Policy Toward Americans in Peril |
