i'm not sure if anyone else here reads as many web comics as i do, but penny arcade is among the oldest and most, ahem, venerable of the lot.

they've collected over $90,000 worth of toys and games to donate to the childrens hospital. that's really something to warm your hard, cynical hearts this holiday season.
