Self serving and silly.

There is no substance to the idea that only "ChickenHawks" supported the Iraq conflict. What's McCain's position on Iraq? Dole's? Cheney's? Powell's? This is a straw man that attempts to elminiate arguements that people have made without actually considering them on their merit. In this case it doesn't even really work. There are plenty of military people who support to administration's perspective.

Basically, argue about ideas and not about people.

As for these specific people not going on a trip to Iraq. On the one hand, I wouldn't go there right now. On the other hand, there are many plausible explanations. This is even further removed from substance.
