The interesting thing about these allegations is that those threats actually elicited some kind of response (when the portrayal of Iraq at the time was, in essence, a stiff middle finger) that the US govt. willfully and intentionally let fall through the cracks. |

I can see your point, however, look at how many times the Iraqi officials balked "Welcome inspectors".."get out inspectors".."welcome inspectors". Who's to say this wasn't just another delay tactic? We'll (the general American public) will never know the truth about the matter but we can always sit around and play what if. |
