My landline rang yesterday morning ... was someone conducting a survey on domain registrars. So rather than hang up on them, I said "ok."

It became fairly clear that I was on their list because I had transferred a domain away from v$/nsi in the past few months (gloop.org -- sort of a long story why I hadn't moved it sooner). So

I took the opportunity to stick it to v$/nsi -- "No, I didn't switch just because of price and even if their price were competitive, I still wouldn't switch back."

Big question: who paid for this survey? v$/nsi? The corporate raiders who just bought nsi from v$?
