3d file browser for linux by Lost at 1:38 am EDT, Sep 14, 2003 |
This is the 3d file browser that won the NSF grant... This looks absolutely amazing. I'm going to fire it up on Monday... Jello: Yes, this looks pimp as hell. I'll install it and try it as soon as I get into the office. |

I ought to go through the rigamoral of installing debian on my laptop in order to play with it, cute? Or just cute? I was thinking of downloading the entire contents on MemeStreams into a directory structure an then pointing this software at it just to see if it shows me interesting relationships in the data. Is this a worth while exercise, or a waste of time? |

It shows promise but doesn't seem terribly useful (to me) at this point. |

The only way the neccesary libraries would install was if I downgraded some of my X libraries by forcing the rpm install. I wasn't willing to break X to get this thing working. :( I'm using redhat 9. |
