Dude, they took it. Its gone. I was shocked, at first I thought I was in error about something, but no, I'm not nuts (in that way).. It was there, but its gone. The exit, the overpass, all of it, gone. There appears to be no even remotely easy way to get to the Sunset now. Or the Western Edition for that matter.. Everything dumps you downtown now. Little things are different all over town actually.. Its clear I've been gone for two years. I have a theory.. Traffic here is down, way down, from what it was when we used to commute from the city to the valley.. "Someone" has determined that commute times home must be the same, regardless of the eased traffic.. So in order to achieve this, they removed the Fell St exit to make sure it still takes you at least a hour and a half to get anywhere.. Just a theory.. |
