This reminds me of those biodegradable packing peanuts. I worked for a company that made those things (along with bubble wrap and the regular styrofoam peanuts) and did you know how they make them? They put the "un-puffed" corn pellets (i'm not sure how those were made) into a machine that actually made cheese puffs! Isn't that cool?! Anyway that whole area smelled like cereal and we had a SERIOUS bird problem back there.
I like the idea of biodegradable packaging, and I'm glad they are putting the idea to other uses.
