You know, I keep thinking that at some point, surely some heads will become dislodged from the asses they've been stuck in for so long and we'll stop relying on virus blacklists. ...perhaps once cockroaches take over as the dominant species. I'm sure a lot of those patches are the result of fallout from the Great Chinese Compromise of 2009, but still... How many times do we get to see the same pattern repeat itself before people start using a goddamn whitelist. It won't fix all the problems, but it'll certainly put an end to a number of old ones that keep biting people in the ass. |
