Thats what I do in my car when I'm at a light where the sensor is obviously broken. Yea - it takes a few seconds longer. But when your on a cycle, your generally saving time in traffic and parking anyway. I just think letting people run red lights sets a very bad precident and motorcyclists are going to DIE "I can gun it and beat that oncoming traffic". Laughing Boy |

Frankly, no. There are cases where the only place to make a U turn safely on a motorcycle are miles up the road. And it's more than just convenience, it's about safety. As it is now, when I pull up to a sensor that I know won't get triggered, I usually have to pull to the side to allow a car behind me to trigger it, otherwise, we'll all sit there in a queue waiting forever. Pretty much everytime I've done this, some idiot almost runs into me from behind. I've also been 'warned' in those situations for not lane sharing, even though technically it's the car that's lane sharing with me. It's a no win situation. |

Good. Now I won't get a ticket when I do what I normally do anyways. |

This very same thing happened to us THREE times just this weekend, there's a lot of "left turn lanes" in our city, and they never pick up the bike. It's annoying. |
