I saw that. Ultimately, the job of governments is to have a monopoly on force. This means making sure that other people aren't doing stuff like this, either because they are focused on something else, or because they work for you. As long as they were respectful I agree with shutting this down. The US actually has a bad habit of allowing people like this to be unemployed. Ever wonder why Iraq had the world's largest cannon? Ever wonder why China had a space program. In one case a Canadian, and in another an American, but in both cases someone who really wanted to do this stuff was left to hawk their dream on the streets. They will find buyers. Better us then them. Thats why we hire hackers. |
