] It's sad to say, but I've become addicted to blogs. And I ] guess that if I'm going to become addicted to anything in ] college, a blog - no matter what you think it sounds like ] - is one of the best things to become addicted to. So ] what is it, you ask? ] ] Look up the term in most English dictionaries, and you ] won't even be able to find it. In fact, my spell check ] doesn't even recognize the word. ] ] Turn to the Internet, however, and you'll find an ] abundance of blogs. The website marketingterms.com's ] definition of blog is "a frequent, chronological ] publication of personal thoughts and Web links." It ] further says that it "is often a mixture of what is ] happening in a person's life and what is happening on the ] Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there ] are as many unique types of blogs as there are people." ] In simpler terms, it is a web log. ] ] My blog of choice is LiveJournal. On that host, I have ] found many interesting people. But the catch is, I don't ] really have to know them. I can peruse through days and ] days of people's inner thoughts and daily happenings with ] just the click of a mouse. |
