Yes, it is a little odd. But Weezer really is a good band to use for a study like this.

The timing is odd too.. Just last week I was having a legnthy discussion with a friend of mine about Weezer.. In particular, trying to figure out why we hated Pinkerton when it first came out.. My first exposure to Weezer was The Sweater Song, which I hated with a passion, and kept be from buying the Blue album for quite awhile.. Buddy Holly brought me around enough to check out the album, which I had fallen in love with by the time I got to the third song, "Turned and Left Me Here", which may possibly be the most catchy pop song ever..
