A study of the origin, if you ] will... I have not heard that. I have seen evidence of it, as in the reduced numbers in protests around the world. Which makes sense, since protesting the war isn't going to get us out of Iraq. I can't say that I've turned the corner on this myself. I don't support the war. I had hoped that the 'shock & awe' crap was real and that it would've been realistically over by now. But I have found that all of that was bullshit in an effort to psycho-war with the Iraqis and get them to flee before it started. In reality, we're going to take quite a few black eyes before all is said and done. I think it's going to become harder and harder for the US populace to support the effort when the casualties start mounting. The age old phrase "what are we fighting for?" is going to replace "It was fine to protest the war, but now that is has started, we should all support it." RE: Study of a Recent Meme |
